Bristlecone revenue grows 24 percent yearly

Bristlecone, a Mahindra Group firm, has seen its topline grow 24% year-on-year, according to its Managing Director and CEO Lakshamanan Chidambaram. The company aims to become a billion-dollar valuation company.
The AI-powered supply chain services provider specializes in helping organizations create higher-performing environments and deliver positive customer experience. Chidambaram said the company has grown 24% year-on-year, which clearly shows that the interventions we’ve done are working.
Bristlecone has opened 15 new Fortune 1000 logos and has taken initiatives such as launching project “unicorn” to make the company a million-dollar valuation company in a few years. It has doubled the size of its sales team and increased its range of offerings.
Global Presence and Services
Bristlecone has a presence in three global markets: the US, Europe, and India. The company offers services to four segments: high-tech, retail and consumer goods, manufacturing, and life sciences.
The company has strengthened its Artificial Intelligence (AI) and product engineering capabilities to widen its range of offerings. Chidambaram said that AI projects may not be large, but they establish the company as a thought leader and drive downstream business.

The revenue from AI intervention is expected to be around 10-12% of the company’s topline. Bristlecone has invested significantly in creating assets, frameworks, and Intellectual Property (IP) to accelerate implementation times for SAP or other supply chain products.
Growth Drivers and Future Plans
The high-tech segment, driven by the data centre and semiconductor boom for AI, remains the growth driver going forward. Bristlecone has upgraded a client’s forecasting model with AI, significantly improving prediction accuracy for tens of thousands of SKUs.
Bristlecone has implemented AI, AR, VR, and computer vision across thousands of machines at the Mahindra Group’s plant in Pune, achieving 99.99% uptime and a 30% reduction in manufacturing energy consumption.
In the medium term, Bristlecone plans to make sure that a good portion of its revenue comes from its IP-driven segment, delinking it from people and making it more IP-driven. The company’s core focus remains on the supply chain.
