FortifAI adds AI expert ahead of NOL8 launch

FortifAI has brought enterprise product executive Priya Shivakumar onto the advisory board of its NOL8 subsidiary, a move timed just ahead of the company’s commercial launch. The appointment gives NOL8 access to top-level product and go‑to‑market experience as the artificial intelligence data plane platform prepares for full market entry.
NOL8 CEO Kelly Herrel said Shivakumar had spent her career turning ambitious data and AI technology into enterprise products that dominated their markets globally.
“Her perspectives will be invaluable for strategic guidance toward NOL8’s product roadmap toward category leadership in advance of our commercial launch,” Herrel said.
A Track Record in Enterprise AI
Shivakumar currently serves as chief product officer at Archetype AI, where she leads product strategy and commercialisation for its physical AI platform and Newton foundation model.
Before that, she held the same title at Lightning AI, leading the launch of Lightning Studio and scaling the platform to more than 300,000 users.
Earlier in her career, Priya Shivakumar helped build Confluent Cloud from its earliest stages, shaping product, pricing and go‑to‑market strategy. She scaled that business to approximately $30 million in annual recurring revenue and spearheaded an initiative that lifted gross margins from single digits to over 70% ahead of Confluent’s 2021 IPO.
That mix of pre‑IPO scaling and enterprise product leadership is exactly the kind of experience a subsidiary needs when it’s about to step out of development and into the market.

The appointment signals that FortifAI isn’t treating the launch as a technical exercise, but as a commercial one.
The launch is imminent.
What the Role Involves
As an advisory board member, Shivakumar will advise the executive team on customer engagement, market trends and product strategy alignment.
She said infrastructure problems weren’t solved by better demos, but by systems that could run continuously, reliably, in production under real operational constraints.
“That’s the same bar I’ve held product organisations to throughout my career, and it’s particularly important as enterprises move AI into production,” she said. “I’m looking forward to helping NOL8 translate its technology into something enterprises can depend on at scale.”
NOL8 delivers an AI Data Plane designed to govern and deliver data to AI agents at wire speed, helping operators recover idle GPU capacity and boost effective utilisation. The cloud‑based platform is designed to provide consistent performance even at scale with only milliseconds of latency.
FortifAI trades on the ASX under the ticker FTI. The company has not yet announced a specific date for the NOL8 commercial launch, though today’s appointment suggests the rollout is now the immediate focus.
